Looking for a new workout program? Here I will give my honest review of Shaun T's Focus T25, a 10 week at-home workout program from Beachbody. This review will help you decide if T25 is something that could help you meet your fitness goals or if it's even right for you.
General Overview of Program
Focus T25 comes in phases. It is 10 weeks long, and is broken down into 5 weeks of Alpha, and 5 weeks of Beta. You can purchase Gamma separate when you are done with the first 10 weeks if you choose. No other fitness program has 25 minute workouts, designed to give an hours worth of results! Perhaps this is why T25 has been so popular! This program crushes every excuse one can come up with to NOT work out. The workouts are only 25 minutes per day, 5-6 days week. Who doesn't have 25 MINUTES per day!? Gone are the days of "I don't have time to work out." SORRY.. you do now!!
I personally have done the entire 10 weeks of Alpha and Beta phase. This is the first fitness program I have actually stuck with, every single day, from start to finish. I'd have to say this is due to the fact that I'm done with my day's workout in 25 minutes. The workouts are no joke, and you are gonna SWEAT! A lot of people might assume this is a "beginner's" workout program since it is only 25 minutes. Well.. they're absolutely wrong. However, a beginner can STILL do this program, because there is a woman who shows modified moves for each workout. You'd still be getting a great workout even if you followed her throughout the entire program.
Focus T25 Workouts and Schedule
Like I have mentioned above, T25 is broken down into 2 phases, Alpha and Beta. Each are 5 weeks. Gamma can be purchased separately and is 4 weeks. The workout calendar shows which DVD workout to do on which day of the week. Friday's are "Double-day Fridays" and 2 workouts should be done. If you can't fit both in, you can use the weekend to do a makeup for any workout you have missed during the week, or the 2nd Friday workout.
Focus T25 Alpha Phase
Alpha focuses on building your foundation of fitness using your own body weight. Core strength will be that foundation! Alpha phase consists of 5 different workouts. They are:

Benefits of Focus T25
There are many benefits to the T25 workout program. First and foremost, the workouts are only 25 minutes. Just when you think you can't do anymore.. you only have a few minutes left and can push yourself to the finish. Second, Tania shows modified moves for each workout if you aren't able to do a specific exercise or move. Don't feel bad if you have to do the modified moves for awhile. Just do your best and work at improving each week so you can eventually do the entire workout with Shaun T! Third, there is a queue that shows which move is coming up next, so your already prepared and you don't miss any time wondering what move is next. Forth, barely any equipment is needed. The resistance band that comes with the program can be used with the weight exercises, or you can purchase some free weights for the exercises. The Gamma phase is where weights come into play. Fifth, the program comes with a very simple, easy to follow nutrition guide to help you get the most out of your workout program and get the best results!
